Community Prayer
Posted on Mon Jun 22 2009

We are praying for a change! That is a change in ...

... our communities. Every Friday the church sanctuary is open for prayer from 11:30-1:30.  You can stop in during your lunch hour and take some time to pray for the community, church, families, country, and whatever else the Lord lays on your heart. A prayer guide is printed with a meditation on prayer and some suggested items for prayer.  Pray for as long as want and leave when you are finished.  But please take advantage of this quiet time and watch God change you and your community! For more info, contact Kenny Foster  734-8150.

Prayer Walk June 27th
Join us for a prayer walk in the community on Saturday the 27th of June. We will gather at the church at 9:00 am and have a brief time of devotion and prayer together. Then we will break up into teams of three and go into the separate neighborhoods surrounding the church. We will walk, pray, and sing  while we are asking God to bless our neighbors grant peace in our community and to bring about righteousness in our city. We will also be asking God to open our eyes and to open our hearts to our neighbors. The whole time spent on the walk will be about 30 minutes and then we will meet back at the church for a time of praise and thanksgiving, fellowship with coffee and donuts! This will only require an hour of your day! So please come out and join us as we walk and survey, (In the sense of reconnaissance, like spies scoping out the land to see what we are up against.), the community! In case of rain we will remain at the church for prayer. Praying for the peace of the city, Kenny Foster (734-8150)
