Hinged @ Home
“Unhinged” is a word used to describe the way many have felt during the pandemic. For this reason, Women of Grace is happy to provide an opportunity to refocus on what it means to be “Hinged” to Christ and His church.
Six PCA Hinged conferences were planned for 2020. Because only one happened in person, the PCA Women’s Ministry has made the digital content of the conference speakers available.
On Saturday October 24 Women of Grace will be hosting a Hinged event at the church from 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM, where four of the “Hinged” videos will be shown.
These videos include “Belonging: Authentic Community,” “Hinging to the Next Generation of Women,” “God of the Gaps,” and “A Prayer for Power and Love.”
This Hinged gathering will take place in the All Purpose Room (with social distancing and masks). However, we hope to have a small group discussion time outside (weather permitting), which will give everyone a mask-wearing break.
Anyone registered for the October 24 “Hinged Event” will also receive log-in information for the Hinged@Home website and will be able to access all 29 videos until December 15.
Women unavailable to meet on the 24th can also register to receive the log-in information and have access to the videos to view on their own.
The Women of Grace ministry has decided to subsidize the cost of the Hinged@Home conference for all women who would like to register. The cost will be $10/woman, but we will waive the fee for anyone for whom the $10 is burdensome.
Once you have registered with Women of Grace, we will take care of your registration at the Hinged@Home website (we have to register as a group to receive a group discount) and pass on to you the log-in information.
