If our church were gone, would we be missed by our neighbors? This was a poignant question back in 2008 and it is still poignant today as we consider the Hamlet Block Party. We called it “Full Church Mobilization,” meaning everyone should participate by being present, providing many hands, doing many things, to aid in building a relationship with our neighboring community. The last time we had the block party was 2019, but now we are back. The goal is to build a relationship with the community. The block party is September 17, from 12:00PM to 3:00PM at the Hamlet Clubhouse, a time of engaging our neighbors with music, fun, food, games, and giveaways.
