Praise the Lord for his faithfulness to our Church! After much prayer, we are excited to introduce our new Music Director, Jennifer Capparuccini. Join us June 26, after service for our Town Hall meeting to hear more about this position and how God led Jennifer to our Church.
- Jennifer is a Delaware native and grew up at our very own Grace Church where she was mentored by Pastor Jeff Rakes until she went away for university studies. She has two children, Michael and Kathryn.
- Jennifer graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.A. in Music Performance with a concentration on Piano Performance and a minor in Jazz Studies. She also has much experience playing various genres of music from classical hymns, CCM, Jazz, and R&B.
- Jennifer has experience working as a piano teacher both privately and at different Music Schools. Most recently she has served as the Music Director at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Lewes, DE where her main duties included accompanying music for services and the choir. She also has experience playing the organ, working with adult, youth, and children’s choirs, and writing musical arrangements. Jennifer is an accomplished musician and has organized classical concerts, worked with various musicians and music artists, and is part of the Shrewsbury Piano Trio.
- Jennifer has a great passion and calling to use the musical gifts that the Lord has given to her to serve Him and His Church. She has studied abroad in Italy and is able to speak English, Italian, and Spanish.
