Spring Sunday School Classes

  • Women’s Class: Come join the Women’s Sunday School class as we discuss the sovereignty of God played out in the lives of people in the Bible that were used by Him to fulfill His plan for the world. Sometimes it’s hard to see His hand at work in our lives and seeing how He moved in the hearts and dealt with those who would try to derail His plan in Biblical times helps us to know that He always has our best interest at heart and will do whatever He needs to do to carry out His will. Meets in N104. On going.
  • The Gospel in Hymns: In this series Kevin Twit (a PCA pastor, RUF campus minister at Belmont University in Nashville, and hymnology professor) will share video insights and background information on ten hymns to draw out the gospel and connect the hymn to one or more of its scripture roots. Each class will feature a video presentation (18-25 minutes) and a performance of the hymn designed for the class to learn and sing. After the video, Pastor Jeff Rakes will facilitate a discussion on application of the hymn for our daily lives. Meets in the sanctuary. Begins March 21.
  • Discover Grace: Learn more about the beliefs, vision, philosophy, mission and ministry of Grace Church (PCA) in this seminar. While this class is the first step for those who want to become members at Grace, it is also a great way to connect more deeply with the church and God. Together we will discuss what beliefs and practices Grace has in common with many churches, what sets us apart, and answer any questions you may have. Taught by Kenny Foster, Senior Pastor. Meets in N102. Begins April 11.
  • Willing to Believe: Do you ever lose sleep about fundamental doctrinal questions about free will? Do you ever wonder if you are simply a cog in the machine of some cosmic design that has predetermined your life? Do you ever wonder if you are a robot or part of the matrix? Pastor Joshua Suh will facilitate this class with 20 minute videos by R.C. Sproul and discussions to take you on journey of learning about free will and Christian liberty, and about how our understanding about free will shapes our daily faith. Meets in S203 and on Zoom. Begins March 21. Zoom Link:  https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87269788734
