Transition Update: Music Ministry

One of the biggest transitions of our church is in our music. Over the last 30 years, the church has continuously adapted its music ministry to align with the multi-ethnic vision at Grace. It is certainly no easy task to blend traditional and contemporary music, hymns and gospel music, and the many different genres of music that different cultures are familiar with, in multiple languages and all in one service! Thank the Lord that he blessed us with a capable music director and pastor for these many years. During this transition, we continue to strive to incorporate our vision in our music ministries through the praise team, choir, and orchestra. Yet, this is only possible when those with musical abilities serve in these different capacities. Here are some ways you can get involved in Grace’s music ministries:

  • We need more people to sing in the choir. (Practice 12/16 and 12/23 at 7 PM for the Christmas Eve service.
  • We need a conductor/director for the choir and orchestra.
  • We need people who are able to play different band instruments (piano, synthesizer, bass, guitar, drums) for the praise team.

Let us use the musical gifts that God has given us to praise his name and bless his Church. Let us not allow this ministry to become a burden for a few, but instead let us join all together and make a joyful noise to the Lord!
