2 Corinthians is a wealth of truth about generosity. It was the need of the poor saints in Jerusalem that became the occasion for a demonstration of generosity from the Corinthians to help bring relief. Paul calls it an “act of grace.”
Similarly, the war in Ukraine, that has led to millions of refugees fleeing their homes, has become an occasion for us to participate in an “act of grace”, partnering with MTW. Since you heard of the need, you gave $12,023.01. Then, through the diaconate, another $10,000.00 was added, making it a total of $22,023.01. Thank the Lord for enabling us to give! Thank you for taking part in this “act of grace.” May the Lord continue to bring relief to his children in Ukraine.
