Praying for One Another

Before You Submit a Prayer Request
-
Who will see/know my request?
You will have the option to share your request on this prayer page with your name or without your name (anonymously).
Or you can choose to share your request confidentially with our Pastoral Staff only.
Public requests may also be included in the pastoral prayer during Sunday worship (in person and livestream/online video).
-
Is your request for someone other than yourself?
If you are submitting a request for someone else, you must first obtain permission from the person.
For sensitive matters, it is wise also to check with the person about the wording for the request.
-
Is your request urgent/time-sensitive?
You may wish to submit such a request to our Email Prayer Team, a group of about 75 prayer volunteers who typically receive/see such requests within 24 hours. Submit requests to the Email Prayer Team here. Or if you would like to be one of the prayer volunteers in the email prayer group, apply here. NOTE: If you also wish your request to be on the website prayer page here, you need to click the share your prayer request button below this FAQ.
-
How long will public requests be displayed?
Public requests are ordinarily displayed here for up to 4 weeks.
After 4 weeks, if there is a need for ongoing prayer, please submit a new/updated request.
-
What else do I need to know?
Church staff may exercise editorial discretion in wording of requests.
Published requests will ordinarily indicate who is making the request.
Please submit updates and reports of answered prayer.
