Our series on God’s vision continues this week as we ask “Why?” If God’s vision is to gather the nations as one in Jesus Christ and the Church, the Body of Christ, is the expression of God’s vision, then our obedience to the vision is inescapable. This is obedience to the Lord’s Great Commission wherein God summons the nations. The call is for all nations to worship Him. Thus, obedience to the call is an act of worship. Worship is the “why” behind the vision God has for the Church.
