Sermon by Kenny Foster, Senior Pastor, from Jeremiah 31:31-34 & Hebrews 9:11-14. As we come into the Third week of Lent and the Journey to the Cross, we are deliberately basking in the power of the cross. As Paul Tripp reminds us it is more than forgiveness. The writer of The Book of Hebrews tells us that Christ’s blood is the means of securing our eternal redemption. What does that mean? It means there’s some changes that are coming! This sermon explores the things that Christ accomplished for us by means of his own blood. Christ’s blood not only brought about our forgiveness but it is also the means by which our conscience is purified and our hearts are transformed.
