From Where Does My Help Come?

Sermon by Kenny Foster, Senior Pastor, from Psalm 121 & Matthew 17:1-9.
We are in the season of Lent and we are making a journey, following the Lord Jesus to the cross. But given the arduous nature of the journey it is one that we cannot make in our own strength. We need help. The text for this week’s message asks a great question, “From where does my help come?” People are looking for help in all kinds of things and people. Psalm 121 tells us the who, why, and the what about our help. Matthew 17 personifies the answer. He is the real answer spoken by a voice from the cloud that said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am will pleased; listen to him.” The help you need is in Jesus. As you are making your journey through this troublesome world, what is your answer to the question, “From where does my help come?”
