Sermon by Kenny Foster, Senior Pastor, from Genesis 45:3-11, 15 & Luke 6:27-38. I would not be stretching the limits of language to say that the preservation of life is a fundamental desire of every person. We all live in the shadow of death. Therefore, many people have risked their lives and many have traversed the globe looking for ways to preserve life. The big reveal of Joseph to his brothers in Genesis 45 and Jesus’ sermon in Luke 6 teaches us the way God preserves life. In this Sunday’s sermon we will see the how, why, and what God does to preserve life. We will also see that what God does to preserve life is the mission of the Church as well.
