This Sunday’s sermon will begin a series on the vision of the Church. Not just the vision of Grace, although it is included, but the vision that God has in mind for the Church universal and absolute.
What is the vision God has of the Church? Our text reveals that God has a promise, a plan and an eternal purpose that he has brought into the world through the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. If you love the Lord, then you have to love his vision of the church. Anything less is a vainglorious pursuit.
