Sermon by Kenny Foster, Senior Pastor, from Isaiah 60:1-6 & Matthew 2:1-12. This past Thursday we entered the season of Epiphany. This Sunday we are preaching a sermon on the significance of Epiphany. Epiphany is the revelation of Jesus as God and King. The kings from the east came with the express purpose of worshiping this new born King of the Jews, the Messiah. Jesus’ birth had an international impact. It had political ramifications. The real question for us as we contemplate the reality of the kingship of God revealed in Jesus Christ is this: Does the beauty of Christ compel you to fall down and worship him? How this question is answered changes everything about our lives.
