The dark can be so scary. What is lurking just beyond? What can we see? Maybe nothing, maybe something benign. But what if??? What if it is something malevolent? We can’t be sure unless we have some way to light up the darkness.
God knew the world was a dark place. It had been dark for centuries. And then….He sent Jesus, The Light of the World! Jesus came to pierce the darkness.
Our Women of Grace Progressive Dinner on December 2 is going to celebrate that light! We’d love for you to join us!
We will begin at Joy LaPrade’s house (200 Meadows Dr., Dover) for appetizers, then head to Grace Church for the main entree, and finally end our time together at Shannon Siler’s house (330 Wyoming Ave., Dover) for dessert.
We will share the light of Jesus with each other and the friends we invite. Sharing the light, spreading the light, that is a great way to celebrate the birth of Jesus, The Light of the World!
“The people who walk in darkness will see a great light; Those who live in a dark land, The Light will shine on them.”
Isaiah 9:2
