In the final weeks and days of Christ’s journey to the cross, Jesus reveals that the plan of the Father is to allow him to die. This is contrary to how the Jews expected their salvation would come, and it was even contrary to the expectations of Jesus’ own disciples. Yet, Jesus tells us that through His death all people will be drawn to him.
