Sermon by Joshua Suh, Associate Pastor, from Isaiah 46:8-13 & Mark 8:31-38. As we continue our “Journey to the Cross,” we are reminded of the suffering that our Lord endured in order to bring us salvation. This was not a surprise for Jesus, but it was all according to the plan and will of our sovereign and good God. Jesus teaches us that we must also trust in God’s sovereignty and goodness even in our own suffering. For it is when we lose our lives to Jesus and the gospel that our lives will be saved.
